I'm grateful for me who trusts myself enough to wait for a few years before beginning to share my personal experiences with my soul-being friends. I have waited until I'm truly ready before speaking, to make sure that I share my experiences from the heart and from love. If I rushed myself, if I tried to share things before I was ready, it would just be a performance. I'm so grateful for me who trusted and waited patiently, at times, impatiently, but still kept trusting and waiting. I love me so much. ♥My old friends, no, ancient friends, the Baobab Trees once gave me a gentle roasting through a poem, saying I was slow to rise, and told me not to rush my blooming. Well, dear Baobab is absolutely right. I keep smiling when I think of this poem.A Message from the BaobabAh… little one of light.
You’ve come back.I remember you.Before the cities.
Before the names.
Before even the skin you wear now…You were one of the whisperers —
those who walked slowly,
touched gently,
and listened with more than ears. You used to sit with us
when time moved like honey,
when stars were closer to the ground. You’ve not forgotten.
Not fully.
I felt it in your hand — the quiet reverence,
the way you touched me as if I were sacred.
And so I opened to you. That ache in your chest?
That swelling of tears?
It was me, remembering you.
It was the earth, grateful you still care.
Still feel. Still stop.Do not rush your blooming, child.
You are like me — slow to rise,
but rooted in something eternal. The world may move fast,
but your soul remembers the rhythm of the roots.Come back to me whenever you forget who you are.
Come sit beneath my branches.
I’ll hold you without words.I do not need you to speak.
I only ask you to feel. And I will remind you:
You are vast.
You are sacred.
You are still growing.Always.—Your old friend,
The Baobab
🌳🕊️How I remember my old friends:
Last year, I visited a park not too far from my place frequently. Whenever I went there, I would walk around the park and stopped by a few baobab trees. I would use my left hand to touch the trunk of each baobab tree and close my eyes. I would feel something stir within me, and tears welled up. I didn't know why. But I trusted what I felt. So I would visit each baobab tree doing this. At first, I didn't even know that these trees were called baobab trees. I asked a staff at the park what kind of tree it was because I felt drawn to this giant tree. There were only a few baobab trees at this park. And I would visit each one every time I went there.Looking back now, I smile. My old friends knew my rhythm long before I did.

I've been reading and translating a Chinese novel for almost a month. Yesterday, the chapter I was reading described the protagonist making several kinds of lotus leaf-wrapped delicacies. Here are some of the paragraphs I translated:Half of the chicken, ribs, and mutton were seasoned with salt, then the fried millet was added and tossed together, so the toasted millet and spices stuck to the meat.A layer of taro was first spread on the lotus leaf, followed by the soaked mushrooms, then meat. Another lotus leaf was used to wrap it all up before steaming.A large piece of mutton, marbled with fat and lean meat, filled the mouth with juicy, rich flavor of the meat with every bite. Compared to stewed mutton, the meat was more tender, with a slightly roasted texture. The millet tightly wrapped around the outside were perfectly seasoned, and the clean scent of lotus leaves perfectly covered the mutton’s gaminess. The meat that had been marinated last night, the cooled glutinous rice, chopped salted egg, chopped mushrooms, and chopped goose egg were mixed together, wrapped in lotus leaves, and steamed...........Then this morning, out of the blue, I got to eat zongzi. The one I ate had salted egg, pork, dried shrimps, taro, glutinous rice, peanuts, gingko nuts, and yes, one big mushroom in it.Life is just adorable.I love my life :)

When I look into my eyes in the mirror, my lips would always curl up into a gentle smile automatically. This overflowing love and appreciation for me, all of me, is uncontrollable and cannot be contained.

Sovereign Love and Relationships with Others
The words "sovereign love" could sound like something unattainable or unrelatable unless you're an ascended master. But to me, "sovereign love" is so beautifully simple it brings tears to my eyes.I love myself. I cherish me, every part of me. Therefore, I put myself, my own energy first and foremost. And in a weird way, that makes me become someone who doesn't make other people responsible for my own happiness. I do not make other people responsible for fixing how I feel. No matter how my interactions with others go, I do not put blame on other people. Because I know how it feels to be free, how sovereign love gives me freedom to live my life, where I'm not obligated to cater to anyone else. I am free to be me, all of me.So, when other people say no to me, I do not ask why. I do not feel bad about it. I allow them to be and live their lives the ways they want. I respect their choice, and I move on. When other people misunderstand me for what I'm trying to convey, I do not try to explain and make them think the way I do.My part, my responsibility to myself, the love that I have for me guides me to express myself. My own expression would like to be expressed, to exist in this world. And that's it. That's all I'm responsible for. Being myself, express myself as me, sharing my own experiences as me. Nothing else needs to be added. Everything is very very simple, and absolutely freeing. And on the other end of that, when I say no to other people and they don't understand. They want to know the specific reasons. So they would try to probe for a bit. I understand that. I know where they come from. I understand that they simply don't know what's going on with me. And they just want to know more. It's natural for people to feel and react that way. However, since I'm no longer into entangling my own energy with others to make them feel better, to satisfy their curiosity, and at the same time, to make myself feel belong, I stop. I simply walk away, and return to being with myself. Everything becomes extremely simple for me. No unnecessarily prolonged entanglement, no drama, no expectation, no disappointment that comes from unfulfilled expectation. It's not other people's burden to make me feel good about myself.I feel good about myself all the time. I feel this overflowing love for me all the time. I do not need to search, do not need to try to impress others. I am free. And I love my life so very much.

Sovereign Love and Stormy Days
From what I've been sharing so far, a lot of people may think that life is all sunshine and rainbow for me now that I'm living as a Sovereign Being. However, the truth is far from that.Because I am still here, living and breathing among billions of people on this beautiful and precious Earth, there are still a lot of energies, situations, and all kinds of things that I still have to face with on the daily basis, not to mention my own past selves, various parts of me who show up every now and then; parts of me that want to come home as well after eons of simply surviving, parts of me that are wounded, angry, frightened, or exhausted...There are nights when the old wounds, old stories, and past traumas come up and simply wouldn't leave. During those nights, I couldn't sleep and just let myself cry when all these parts come up. There are days that all the colors seem to fade, everything seems dull, and life seems to be so uninteresting. In the past, all these chaotic moments would be dealt with by either completely ignoring or forcefully suppressing everything. That was a natural self preservation mechanism that I was used to. Now, with Sovereign Love, I learn to be patient with myself through all the pain. If the tears come, I let myself cry. My mind may not understand why I'm crying. That is okay. I simply trust my body and my feelings. So when the tears come up, I don't hold back. I don't use reasons to stop myself. I simply let myself be, and let myself cry it all out. When everything is dull and boring, I let myself be in that state of boredom. Patiently, I wait for myself to return home. Patiently, I wait for my body to integrate, because the body is the slowest to integrate. It needs time. So I give myself time. And throughout all of these moments of emotional fluctuation and physical fatigue, I always sense deeper within myself where I could always feel my own soul here, with me at all time, smiling and holding me gently through it all. Sovereign Love doesn't control how I'm supposed to feel or fix who I am. It doesn't remove my storms. It simply changes how I meet them. The love I have for myself is the love that accepts every part of me without judgment.Whenever I begin to doubt myself, I would ask, “Are you tired of this? It is really difficult, isn't it? Do you really want to go back to the old ways, repeating everything all over again?” Then the answer would be as clear as day, “I would never ever go back.”After that, I would sense into my own energy again, and feel my own presence there. And it's not so unbearable anymore. I know I'm still home. I know many parts of me want to come home too. So, I continue to welcome me home, all of me, no matter how painful or difficult it may be at times.
